The consequences of 4 years of conflict, has seen Ukraine become the third most mine-contaminated country in the world. With mines unable to discriminate, both civilians and soldiers have, and will again become victims of their use. Adding to the everyday front line danger, improvised explosive devices, designed to deter enemy patrols, are also placed along paths and tracks.
