May 24th, President Poroshenko visited the Center for Psychological Rehabilitation of Servicemen and women, in the village of Tysovets. Situated in the Lviv region of Ukraine, the center is located within the spectacular setting of the Carpathian Mountains. The centers important aim, is to help the rehabilitation of wounded and shell-shocked soldiers, who were injured whilst serving in eastern Ukraine.
“We do everything to ensure that our soldiers have an opportunity to undergo high-quality rehabilitation,” Petro Poroshenko noted and said that together with the Minister of Defense, it was decided to increase the capacity of Tysovets base and build another hotel.
The President thanked representative of the NATO Trust Fund for Medical Rehabilitation in Ukraine Orhan Muratli, for his help in the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian heroes. Visit the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence website for more info.
