As it’s Paratrooper Day in Russia, we should help celebrate it.
So here’s some Russian army (cannon fodder) paratroopers in Ukraine. They along with others were captured in 2014, during Russia’s invasion attacks on Ukrainian border town of Ilovaisk. Naturally Russian soldiers didn’t (and still don’t) wear any military insignia. In order to give their appearance some credibility, they tied white bits of cloth to their uniforms. This fakery was meant to show they were so called Ukrainian “separatists.”
