Some three years after being damaged by shelling, the post office in the front line village of Rozdolne is open again (hurrah). With a population of around 3,000 people, it’s held by Ukraine and located in the Donetsk Oblast (province). Rebuilt with the help of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), its opening should be a real boost for the local community. Will provide a much needed local service, particularly for the elderly who make up a large percentage of the population living in these front line villages.
